    Two people have died following a crash involving six vehicles in Worcestershire.

    The man and woman died at the scene at about 16:40 GMT at the junction of the A435 and Hill Lane in Wythall, said the ambulance service.

    Two men were taken to hospital, one suffering serious injuries.

    The road was closed for a time but has since reopened.

    There are some roads that remain closed due to flooding around Herefordshire.

    Flood alerts remain in place , externalon the Wye in the county as well as the Severn in Worcestershire, the river Lugg south of Leominster and the Upper Teme.

    Plans to transform a vacant Ikea store into an arts centre are to be discussed by councillors today.

    Ikea closed its Coventry branch in March 2020, but new proposals could see it become home to national and local artworks and collections.

    The centre could be created through a partnership between Arts Council England, Culture Coventry Trust and Coventry University, said the city council.

    Coventry is the UK's 2021 City of Culture and the council said transforming the Ikea store would deliver a "lasting legacy".

    A film based on the life and career of Robbie Williams is in development, American entertainment news outlet Deadline is reporting.

    Michael Gracey, famous for directing musical The Greatest Showman, told the site he had spent hours talking to the former Take That star - originally from Stoke-on-Trent.

    Gracey told the outlet: "As for how we represent Robbie in the film, that bit is top secret. I want to do this in a really original way.

    "It's this fantastical story and I want to represent it in its harsh reality, all the way to these moments of pure fantasy."

    Gracey added Williams' songs would be "re-sung, for the emotion of the moment."

    A resource centre for children with special educational and emotional needs is to be built at a Wolverhampton primary school.

    Council bosses have given the go-ahead for the new facility to be created at St Michael’s CE Primary School in, Tettenhall, Wolverhampton.

    The additional accommodation, which will be named the Ark, has been specially designed to provide an environment that will nurture the social, emotional and mental health needs of pupils aged four to 11.

    Facilities will include two new classrooms with a range of sensory equipment.

    The crash happened at the junction of Studley Road and Auxerre Avenue on Sunday at 14:30, police say.

    The man in his 30s remains in hospital in a critical condition, said West Mercia Police.

    A new office building could be added at Telford’s hospital to allow for "improved social distancing” and free up care space in the main complex.

    If approved, the two-storey block will be known as the Ironbridge Suite and built on land west of the Princess Royal Hospital, providing nearly 400 square meters of new space.

    Modular building manufacturer Catfoss Ltd has applied for planning permission, and a statement submitted on its behalf says it will give Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust staff more room to work

    Telford and Wrekin Council is set to make a decision on the planning application at a later date.

    Four people arrested on suspicion of murder over the "unexplained death" of a man at a house have been released, police say.

    Staffordshire Police was called to a property on Lime Street in Stoke-on-Trent at about 21:30 on Saturday after the 34-year-old man died.

    A woman, 30, and two men, aged 35 and 42, all from Stoke-on-Trent, have been released under investigation pending further inquiries.

    A 32-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been released on conditional bail.

    The man remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition, the force added.

    He is described as a white male with dark brown hair possibly in his late teens or early 20s.
