    People who use a boxing gym in Kidderminster cannot wait for it to reopen after three months, its owner said.

    Mikey's Boxing Gym along with gyms across England can now reopen today as lockdown continues to ease.

    Mikey’s will open to individual exercise for members and children’s boxing groups but adult classes will not resume until May.

    Owner Kara Mikolajczyk said, after a frustrating few months of closure, they are hoping this will be the last lockdown of the pandemic.

    "Both kids and adults, they are so excited to come back, our kids cannot wait and it is going to be good to see their faces," she said.

  2. Ducklings saved from motorway crossingpublished at 08:35 British Summer Time 12 April 2021

    Six ducklings were saved after they were spotted attempting to cross a motorway.

    The six feathered friends were spotted attempting to cross the carriageway on the M5 close to the northbound junctions 5, at Droitwich Spa, and 4A, at Bromsgrove on Sunday.

    Fortunately, Highways England officers managed to prevent them from coming to any harm.
