    Team GB boxer Ben Whittaker is guaranteed at least a silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics after edging into the men's light-heavyweight final.

    But, he says, his eyes are still on the gold chain of office.

    The 24-year-old from Darlaston has repeated his ambition to not only bring back a gold medal, but become mayor of Wolverhampton.

    He thanked the mayor for his support saying: “He's been getting behind me. He thinks it's a joke but I want that chain. When I land back with my gold medal, he better give me that chain."
