A public consultation's started on big changes to schools in the Pershore area.
Students in the town have tended to follow a three-tier route, where pupils attend first school and middle school before going to high school.
But Worcestershire County Council says schools have asked it to review a "fragmented and confusing system", and look at changing the area to primaries and secondaries instead.
The consultation runs until 26 November and a final decision will be made in February.

People will be able to return to Stone town centre to see the Christmas lights switched on next month after the annual festive celebration was put back on the calendar by public demand.

But residents and traders called for the council to have a rethink on its plans for this year and at this month’s Stone Town Council meeting members voted to bring back the main event for November.

Balfour Beatty, Telford & Wrekin Council’s highways contractor, is carrying out a test run today to ensure all teams are set for periods of cold weather and snow.
Gritters are mobilised when potential frost or ice is forecast, between October and April. When out, the trucks grit more than 400km of roads, bus routes and access roads for emergency services, schools, industrial estates and villages - a network agreed with the community.
The council has also asked for applications for people to become volunteer snow wardens, who salt smaller roads and footpaths on estates as well as clearing pathways of snow and ice in their local area.
