The Prime Minister visited Cheltenham's Science Festival today as part of campaigning.
Her visit was a brief one - just 45 minutes to speak to Tory supporters and see a few festival stands.
While there, she was asked about police spending in Gloucestershire. The police force there has lost 280 officers in recent years, but she says funding has been protected in some areas.

She was last seen in the Donyatt Hill area of Ilminster at around 8.40pm on Sunday.
Police say she is 5'4", of medium build with blue eyes and long straight dark brown hair. She was wearing a light blue crop top, denim leggings and black Nike trainers.

BBC Points West has been touring constituencies across the West. Today they were in Bristol East, a Labour stronghold for the last 25 years. It was once the seat of the stalwart Tony Benn.
It's one of the seats the Tories want to take. Labour are defending a slim majority of around 4,000.

Dashcam footage from a Wiltshire police car has revealed the moment a drug dealer from Bath was caught after a high speed chase.
Leroy Harding, 30, crashed into the police car in Melksham last September.
He was found with Class A drugs and several hundred pounds in cash.
He was jailed at Swindon Crown Court after pleading guilty to dangerous driving and possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

They were offered a list of candidates which included Ms G Raff, Mrs C Lyon and Mr R Madillo representing a range of parties like the Liberal Meerkats, the Green Tree Frog party and the Boa Constrictor party.

With just 48 hours until the general election, the political parties are stepping up their campaigns.
In the West, all but three of the region's seats are Conservative-held, and polls point to several being close contests.
When Green Party leader Caroline Lucas campaigned in the West recently, she said her "single-minded intention" was to get Bristol its first Green MP.
People from Bristol's Muslim community have been meeting in the wake of the London terror attack to discuss what can be done to tackle extremism.
Representatives from mosques in the city want to make it clear - the action of the terrorists has nothing to do with Islam.

Image source, Family photoA talented teenage martial arts fighter from Wiltshire died from natural causes, Salisbury Coroner's office has confirmed.
In December, Hannah Cubin, 14, was at a friend's sleepover where she suddenly stopped breathing. Despite emergency medical help she could not be revived.
A Facebook post by her parents Andy and Dawn Cubin, stated: "In simple terms, Hannah died of heart failure from a condition that neither we, nor she could have been aware of."
Salisbury coroner's office is yet to set a date for the inquest hearing.
The teenager, from Crudwell, near Malmesbury had been talent spotted by the UK national coach. Hannah was also a member of the Malmesbury Taekwondo School.
Finland defender Dan O'Shaughnessy signs an extended contract with League Two club Cheltenham Town until 2018.

Theresa May stopped in at the Cheltenham Science Festival as she made her way down to the south of England on the Conservative battle bus.
She visited the GCHQ stand, chatting to staff from the listening post before touring the rest of the exhibition and posing for selfies with visitors.

A World War Two veteran has joined hundreds of others in Normandy, to mark the 73rd anniversary of the D-Day landings.
Former glider pilot Ron Johnson, 95, from Shrivenham near Swindon is among a group of veterans who have travelled in a convoy of taxis to France.
He explained to BBC Wiltshire's Ben Prater why he never took part in the D-Day operation itself in 1944, despite having trained for it.

Bristol Costume Services have just set up shop at the Bottle Yard Studios in Hengrove.
The company provide costumes and accessories for film, theatre and television productions across the UK.
Their new warehouse is as large as two football pitches!
Watch: the company has moved all of their stock - as many as 100,000 costumes - into Bristol's Bottle Yard.
Official voter data released to the BBC, Press Association and ITN shows the Bristol West and Bath constituencies are among those with the biggest increase of new voters.
A total of 46.9 million people will be able to vote nationally, with an extra 1 million on the electoral roll compared to December last year.

An investigation into how allegations of sexual assault against a former police doctor were handled has closed due to a lack of evidence.
Dr Reginald Bunting worked for Avon and Somerset Police between 1972 and 2004. He died in 2013. It was alleged he committed sexual offences against staff members during his time with the force.
Police watchdog, the IPCC was looking into how those allegations were handled by Avon & Somerset Police in 1991, 1994 and 1998.
But most officers they spoke to couldn't recall investigations made or allegations against Dr. Bunting.
IPCC Commissioner Cindy Butts said:
Quote MessageIt is clear that investigative work was carried out into the allegations on at least two occasions but unfortunately no records can be found which show the outcome of this work. The passage of time, the lack of paper records, which would have been disposed of, and the inability of witnesses to accurately recall events all amount to a lack of evidence on which to assess the conduct of relevant officers. I appreciate this will be frustrating for all those affected by Dr Bunting’s medical examinations particularly the officers who reported concerns.

It's rather blustery outside today - the wind has felled several trees in the West.

Image source, Angela WrightA social worker who sold the address of an adopted child to her birth mother to pay for a Caribbean holiday has been spared jail.
Androulla Farr, 50, contacted the "vulnerable" mother and offered to hand over details of her young daughter's adopted family in exchange for £2,000.
Bristol Crown Court was told the mother was "desperate" to know the details and Farr passed it on at meeting in a cafe.
Judge William Hart sentenced Farr to 16 months jail suspended for 18.
At a previous hearing Farr admitted a charge under the Public Bodies Corrupt Practices Act 1889.

They will be discussing aspects of the Government's "Prevent" strategy which aims to tackle radicalisation.
Abdul Malik, Chair of the Easton Jamia Mosque, told BBC Points West's Scott Ellis it is "a huge issue".
