- The Bristol Balloon Fiesta has been running for 39 consecutive years since 1979
- More than 130 balloons are registered to fly at the fiesta in 2017
- International entries come from Belgium, Germany, USA, Hong Kong and Ireland
- It takes over 600 staff to stage the fiesta working on car parks, security, balloonist registration, litter collection and event management
- Three balloons have come from the British Balloon Museum and Library

BBC NewsAshton Court is "packed" with roads around the area very busy.
Police are ticketing cars parked illegally near the site. The main car parks are full with people being turned away.
It's quite cloudy with a mixture of sunshine too and a breeze.
