    A small plane which crashed in Worcestershire yesterday, killing two men, came from a flight training company, the BBC has learnt.

    Gloucestershire Airport says it was operated by the firm Aeros and was heading to the site when it lost contact with air traffic control at about 12:40, coming down on Bredon Hill near Overbury.

    Darren Lewington from the airport said it would be taking part in the investigatory process "as it unfolds" and said it could take several months.

    GWR is now saying problems on train services in Bristol and beyond are likely to last until past lunchtime.

    The firm's services have been disrupted after a cable theft near to Filton Abbey Wood.

    Although there are replacement buses, the company says they are "very limited".

    Replacement road transport has been requested however where and when it does become available it will be very limited. Severe disruption is expected to GWR services in the Bristol area this morning. First Bus in Bristol will convey GWR customers on all reasonable routes until further notice. Due to very limited road transport availability; customers are advised not to travel unless absolutely necessary.

    You're trying to get the train and you need help. Here's your alternatives:

    • GWR says it has requested bus replacement services but they are "very limited"
    • But, if you're in Bristol, you can get a First Bus on "any reasonable route"
    • From Filton Abbey Wood, if you walk out of the station and head to Filton Avenue or towards McDonalds you can get the 73 to the centre
    • From Patchway you can walk to Gloucester Road North and get a variety of services to the centre
    • From Bristol Parkway you can get the 73 or X73 from the front of the station to the centre
    • If you're going from south Wales to Southampton and the South Coast are advised to travel on GWR services to Reading, and change at Reading for services to Southampton
