Two charities in Bath are to benefit from the cancellation of the Bath Life Awards.
Some 500 people were expected to descend on the Assembly Rooms later but organisers took the decision to postpone the event because of the weather.
The food has since been donated to Julian House, and the St John's Foundation
Organisers say the event will now take place on 22 March
Former England batsman, Marcus Trescothick, hasn't let sub-zero temperatures and snow stop play.The 41-year-old has signed a 12-month contract extension with Somerset, to the end of the 2018 season.
Last season, Trescothick set a new Somerset record by hitting his 50th first-class century for the county.
As BBC Sport tweeted: "We'll assume you had the red balls out for this one..."

A man found dead in the grounds of a retirement home in Swindon has been named as 56-year-old Paul Wilding.
Wiltshire Police said the death of Mr Wilding, who lived nearby, was being treated as unexplained while further forensic work and tests were being carried out.
Mr Wilding's body was found in the grounds of Farm Park in The Street, Moredon, on Monday.
Anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious between Sunday evening and Monday morning is urged to come forward.

Snow will continue across the entire area this evening, with substantial accumulations in some areas potentially to over 30cm, especially parts of Somerset.
Drifting and blizzard conditions remain a risk, mainly but not exclusively over uplands.
Later tonight, snow will tend to wane but be replaced in some districts by a transient risk of freezing rain, which would carry profound icing risks where it occurs.
Friday brings another cold, windy day with a further risk of snow, particularly into the afternoon.
Bath rugby winger Matt Bananan is urging people to avoid Lansdown Lane as emergency crews deal with a serious crash outside his house.

Avon & Somerset Police say the are starting to get reports of stranded vehicles and are urging people not to travel.
They are also urging people only to dial 999 if completely necessary and to avoid calling 101 for non-urgent matters until the weather conditions improve.

Bristol Hippodrome has urged people who are unable to travel to tonight's performance of Wicked to contact them to discuss returning to the theatre on a different day.
The theatre had been criticised on social media for going ahead with the performance despite severe weather and warnings urging people not to travel.
