    Conservative MEP VIcky Ford has become the latest local politician to declare which side she is supporting in the EU referendum, confirming she will vote to remain.

    Mrs Ford said: "Much as I would like to be able to walk away quietly from the bureaucracy of the EU institutions, all my instincts tell me that leaving would lead to a very expensive and drawn-out divorce."  

    Fellow Conservative East of England MEP David Campbell Bannerman says claims of "chaos" in the event of Leave winning are "nonsense".

    Thieves have struck at the parish church in Trumpington, stealing a stained glass window pane.

    Police have released a picture of the restored medieval pane, which they say is of "high historic value".

    It was taken from St Mary and St Michael Church, in Grantchester Road, Trumpington, some time between 19:00 on Thursday and 10:00 on Sunday.

    The Health and Safety Executive will be taking over an investigation into a guided bus crash in Cambridge yesterday, say police.

    Five people had minor injuries and one person sustained serious, but not life-threatening, injuries, in the crash which happened shortly after 14:10.
