    Peterborough serial killer Joanne Dennehy is suing the government on human rights grounds over claims she has been traumatised for being kept in segregation in prison.

    Joanne Dennehy, 33, is serving life sentences for the murders of Kevin Lee, Lukasz Slaboszewski and John Chapman, whose bodies were discovered in remote ditches in the Fens in 2013.  

    First reported in The Sun, external, her QC Hugh Southey is challenging Justice Secretary Michael Gove over HMP Bronzefield's decision to keep Dennehy segregated because of concerns over her escaping.

    Port Vale mounted a second-half fightback at London Road on Saturday as they came from 2-0 down at half-time to beat Peterborough United 2-3.

    A baby remains in a serious, but stable condition following a house fire in Wisbech at the weekend, external.

    The one-year-old boy was taken to Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford for specialist burns treatment after emergency services were called to the property in Lime Avenue at 08:30 on Saturday.

    Three other children aged two, four and seven, escaped unharmed, and two adults -a man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s - were treated for smoke inhalation.
