    Two people have been taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge with serious injuries, after a collision involving two vehicles in Sudbury in south Suffolk.

    The A134 is likely to remain closed between Newton Road and Valley Road for some time, say police.

    It's understood that recovery vehicles are on their way to the scene, and that a diversion is in place.

    British Transport Police officers have been called to Needham Market rail station following reports of a person being struck by a train.  

    The call came into police at 15:53. Officers attended the scene alongside paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service.  

    A person was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers will now work to establish the identity of the person and inform their family. 

    The incident is not being treated as suspicious.  A file will be prepared for the coroner.

    Details have been released of the men who are to face charges linked to the attack on football fan Simon Dobbin following a nil-nil draw between Southend United and Cambridge United in March last year.

    Mr Dobbin, 41, from Suffolk, suffered a serious head injury during the fracas between fans outside the Railway Pub in East Street, Southend.

    Eleven men have been summonsed to face charges of affray. They are:

    • Lewis Courtnell, 33, a fence installer, of Stadium Road, Southend
    • Jamie Chambers, 22, unemployed, of Coleman Street, Southend
    • Thomas Randall, 21, a consumer credit employee, of Seaforth Avenue, Southend 
    • Michael Shawyer, 30, a tiler, of Belgrave Road, Leigh-on-Sea 
    • Matthew Petchey, 24, a labourer, of Lascelles Gardens, Rochford 
    • Alexander Woods, 24, of Fairmead Avenue, Westcliff
    • Philip McGill, 31, an electrician, of Hornby Avenue, Westcliff
    • Greg Allen, 28, a painter, of Wellington Avenue, Westcliff
    • Rhys Pullen, 20, a telecommunications engineer of Bridge Road, Wickford 
    • James Woods, 24, a chef, of Fairmead Avenue, Westcliff 
    • Scott Nicholls, 40, a construction worker, of Sherwood Close, Langdon Hill

    Ryan Carter, 20, who is unemployed, from York Road in Southend, has already been charged with affray after answering bail on Friday.

    Ian Young, 40, an electrician, of Brightwell Avenue, Westcliff, has been summonsed to face charges of assisting an offender and possession of a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid or gas or an electrical incapacitation device

    All of the men are to due to appear at Southend Magistrates' Court on 2 September.

    The owner of Peterborough United, Darragh MacAnthony, has taken to Twitter about the sale of Harry Beautyman to Northampton Town.

    The 24-year-old midfielder signed a two-year deal with The Cobblers for an undisclosed fee, but MacAnthony has indicated it is more than they paid Welling for him in 2014 and that, should he be sold on from the Cobblers, Peterborough would get a cut.

    Northampton Town, external have signed midfielder Harry Beautyman from fellow League One side Peterborough United for an undisclosed fee.

    The 24-year-old has scored five goals in 45 appearances since joining Posh, external from Welling in November 2014.

    He was not in new boss Grant McCann's plans and becomes the second player to swap Posh for Cobblers this summer, following defender Gabriel Zakuani.
