    The Sky Blues' League One opponents tomorrow are likely to have two new loan signings in their squad. 

    Having already taken Sam McQueen from Southampton, Southend United are expected to add another midfield player in Glen Kamara from Arsenal. 

    Coventry manager Tony Mowbray says his team should travel to Southend in a confident mood despite losing to League One leaders Burton Albion last weekend.

  4. Police seek witness to fatal crashpublished at 17:25

    Warwickshire police has released CCTV to try and find witnesses after a fatal crash, external in Rugby. 

    The cyclist, who's been named by police as 24-year-old Samuel Davies, died after a collision with a beige A5 on Park Field Road on the evening of Friday 8 January.

  5. University's post war sculpture given listed statuspublished at 17:10

    The University of Warwick's large geometric piece of post-war public sculpture is among 41 pieces of art to be given listed status by Historic England.

    Schottlander's 3B Series No 1 dominates the Rootes Hall Courtyard at the university, and is the centrepiece of their scuplture trail.

  6. Man airlifted from Fosse Way accidentpublished at 16:58

    A man's been airlifted to hospital after a four-vehicle crash on the Fosse Way, external near Stretton-on-Fosse in Warwickshire this afternoon.

    A lorry and three cars were involved - the driver of one car was trapped and needed emergency trauma care.

    His passenger was also injured and taken to hospital.

  7. Sullivan on top in Abu Dhabipublished at 16:41

    Play has just ended for the day at the  Abu Dhabi Golf Championships, external with Nuneaton's Andy Sullivan still at the top of the leaderboard. 

    Play was suspended due to bad light, and will continue tomorrow.

    James Haskell and Joe Launchbury return to the side, but Guy Thompson has been ruled out for 10 to 12 weeks because of an injured toe. 

    Backs Losi Tagicakibau and Ben Jacobs also miss this weekend's game and are replaced by Josh Bassett and Brendan Macken.

  10. Tickets left for Jimmy Hill celebrationpublished at 15:44

    After a rush this morning, Coventry City tell us fans have been steadily picking up tickets for the Jimmy Hill celebration from the Butts Park Arena.

    Season ticket-holder Laina Tebbutt, 50, from Whitley, was getting tickets for her father-in-law.

    "Jimmy was a massive person for the club, he put Coventry back on the map in terms of football," she said.

    "Everyone is so passionate about him, he was such an innovator in football.

    "He brought the fans back into the ground."

  12. Co-op agree to special meeting over shop closurespublished at 14:56

    After weeks of pressure from members, the board of north Warwickshire-based Heart of England Co-op has agreed to a special meeting to discuss the closure of its non-food stores

    The society announced the closure of five shops in the county and one in Hinckley in September.

    It says the decision hasn't been taken lightly and is in the wake of substantial losses in the non-food division over the last five years.

    The special meeting will take place at the firm's offices at Abbey Street in Nuneaton on 20 March.
