  9. Council remove Daniel Pelka memorial keepsakespublished at 15:59

Items were removed from a memorial for murdered schoolboy Daniel Pelka because they "significantly encroached" on a neighbouring grave, Coventry City Council said.

Councillor Rachel Lancaster said they'd had to "re-mark out the space available" for people to leave gifts at the site and apologised saying "it was not our intention to cause offence".

Campaigners who look after the site say they should have been given notice that the council were going to remove items.
