    Nuneaton Town has been docked three points for fielding an ineligible player, external during a fixture against Corby Town on 27 February.

     The Club was fined the sum of £250 and deducted the three points it won in the fixture.

    The club says it will be appealing the decision by the National League, external.

    Coventry speedway supporters will say goodbye to their Brandon home at the end of this season. 

    There’s been speedway there since the 1920s but the site is now earmarked for housing.

  8. Vicar 'not convinced' Shakespeare's skull takenpublished at 16:47 Greenwich Mean Time 24 March 2016

    A team using a radar scan to look through Shakespeare's grave found an "odd disturbance at the head end", concluding " someone's come in and taken the skull of Shakespeare".

    However, the Rev Patrick Taylor, of Holy Trinity, says he isn't convinced there is "sufficient evidence" to prove the theory, and "will have to live with the mystery" surrounding the grave.

    The Sky Blues manager Tony Mowbray has revealed he will be looking to add to his side before the loan window shuts at 17:00. 

    City will be missing forward pairing Adam Armstrong and James Maddison, as well as defender Jack Stephens for tomorrow's trip to Peterborough, and Mowbray has indicated that he is set to sign a couple of players as potential cover.

    A team of archaeologists has been allowed to carry out a hi-tech scan of the grave of William Shakespeare.

    The technology allows them to investigate what lies beneath the gravestone without disturbing it, or risking the curse which supposedly protects the site.

    Dr Helen Castor, presenter of the programme Shakespeare's Tomb on Channel 4, said: "It can show what the material structure under the floor is, and that he lies not in a vault, but a shallow grave".
