    Plans to stop young people being sexually exploited at a park in Coventry could be approved later today. 

    New powers would then allow police and other authorities to stop groups of people suspected of grooming from gathering at Edgwick Park.

    It's been claimed that two teenagers who visited the area were later raped. 

    If approved it'll be the first time in the UK that a Public Space Protection Order has been used to tackle this issue.

    The early start was agreed after the the first day of the scheduled two-day friendly was wiped out the weather.  

    With both teams keen for red-ball practice, the game will take place championship-style, despite the 55-overs limitation.

    Almost 8,000 jobs in UK libraries have disappeared in six years, about a quarter of the overall total, an investigation by the BBC has revealed.  

    In Warwickshire, three libraries have closed, as have two mobile services - 13 libraries have been handed over to community groups to run.

    In 2010 there were 184.6 paid staff in libraries, compared with 129.4 now.

    The council had 151 unpaid volunteers in 2010 and has 218 volunteers today.
