    This is the scene around Pool Meadow bus station and Lady Herbert's garden in Coventry, which is closed off after a man died in a suspected street robbery.

    Police say they're in the "very early stages" of the investigation and are appealing for any witnesses to the incident, at about 10:50, to come forward.

    A man's died after police were called to reports of a street robbery, external in Coventry city centre earlier.

    They say officers found a man, believed to be in his 50s, unconscious just outside Lady Herbert's Garden, opposite Pool Meadow bus station.

    The area remains cordoned off while they examine the scene.

    At Warwick Crown Court, three men have been jailed after they admitted killing 20-year-old Morgan Hehir in a Nuneaton street.

    • Declan Gray, 21, of Waverly Square, Nuneaton, was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder, which he admitted, and ordered to serve at least 25 years
    • His brother Karlton Gray, 19, of the same address, was jailed for seven-and-a half years after pleading guilty to manslaughter
    • Simon Rowbotham, 40, of Meadow Street, Nuneaton, was jailed for nine years after also admitting manslaughter

    We're getting reports of an incident in Coventry city centre.

    Police have cordoned-off an area around Lady Herbert's Garden and the ambulance service say they were called this morning to a patient "suffering breathing difficulties".

    They say they administered CPR to the male, before taking him to University Hospital.

    A second man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found stabbed in Coventry.

    Liam McGerrigan, 27, from the city, was pronounced dead at the scene after officers were called to Holyhead Road at about 22:10 on Thursday. He had been stabbed in the chest.

    Avon Valley School, in Rugby, has issued a statement on Twitter saying the teenager taken to hospital earlier is a pupil there.

    Police say they were called to the site in Newbold Road about 08:20 after reports of an accident involving a car and a pedestrian.

    Three men are due to be sentenced today after admitting killing a 20-year-old in a "vicious and unprovoked" attack.

    Morgan Hehir (pictured), from Nuneaton, Warwickshire, was fatally stabbed in the town on 31 October in an altercation with several others.

    Declan Gray, 21, admitted murder at Warwick Crown Court on Wednesday.

    His brother Karlton, 19, and Simon Rowbotham, 40, both admitted manslaughter on Friday.

    Fire crews in Stratford have been tackling a fire that's badly damaged a house in Rushbrook Road, external.   

    They got the call at 18:50 yesterday and say the fire was in a ground floor bedroom of the two-storey house.

    A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital suffering serious leg and shoulder injuries after a collision with a Toyota Yaris in Rugby, say police.

    It happened at about 08:10.

    The A426 Leicester Road, near Mr Kipling roundabout, is expected to remain closed for some time.

    The A426 Leicester Road, in Rugby, is partially blocked and there's slow traffic at the Boughton Road junction because of an accident involving a motorbike.
