Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously injured in a road collision, external near the Total depot on Trinity Road, Kingsbury, this morning.
They say two vehicles were involved - not three as previously reported - a silver Ford transit van and a black Audi A4.
The driver of the van suffered serious injuries and has been transferred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
A vigil to remember Jo Cox MP will take place on Sunday in Coleshill.
The leader of North Warwickshire Labour Group, Cllr Adam Farrell, said it was to "show our respects as well as unity with Jo's family, friends and colleagues".

A Warwick code breaker who helped win the war from Bletchley Park, external has been thanked at a royal celebration.
A Coventry dance teacher, who reached the final of Britain's Got Talent, is to face trial on a charge of child neglect.
Leeroy Bailey, 35, from Foleshill, was released on bail after a five-minute hearing at Warwick Crown Court today.
He denies one charge of neglecting a child "in a manner likely to cause suffering or injury to health", alleged to have happened in the city in February this year.
The trial is set for February 2017.
A Coventry MP says he and his parliamentary colleagues have been warned by police that their safety cannot be guaranteed, external following the murder of Labour MP Jo Cox.
A man who kidnapped and raped a woman during a burglary has been jailed, external for 15 years.
Emilian Paduraru, of Fillongley, pleaded guilty to rape, assault and kidnap at Leamington Crown Court on Wednesday.
Paduraru, 28, was charged in February over the attack which occurred in the West Midlands area, police said.
Police praised the victim's "bravery" in coming forward after what it described as "a terrible ordeal".

British Transport Police says the rail operator whose train was struck by a barbecue thrown from a bridge will have a "significant cost implication" for the company.
Officers are appealing to anyone with information to come forward, external.
A spokesperson said: "Our officers want to hear from any witnesses or anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously around the time of the incident."
A new law officially recognising the West Midlands Combined Authority has come into force.
The chair, Councillor Bob Sleigh, says it's the result of 18 months hard work - and now delivery of an £8bn devolution deal can start.
