  5. Met Office: More rain tonight sparks flooding fearspublished at 09:14

The Met Office says even the relatively small amount of rain expected tonight could cause more problems.

With the ground saturated and rivers still high, Alan Goodman from the Met Office told BBC Radio Cumbria that drivers should be aware of a brief spell of rain expected in the small hours of tomorrow

He said: "If you are going to be travelling early tomorrow do watch out because there could be a lot of standing water on the roads."

There's still some uncertainty about rain on Christmas night into Boxing Day, but forecasters say it could give the county another prolonged soaking.
