    Paul Clement says Derby County are about to embark on a critical month that will decide whether they're competing for automatic promotion, or a place in the Championship play-offs.

    The Rams kick-off February at home to Preston tonight, and despite a run of five league games without a win their head coach is optimistic about what lies ahead.

    He said: "It's a massive month for us. We've got lots of fixtures in there where we believe we can get points from, both home and away.

    "Six games to play, three home and three away, we've got to have a really good and really strong month."

    Thieves stole several bottles of champagne, wine and cider from the cellar of a south Derbyshire pub at the weekend.

    Police believe the burglars gained access to the Bulls Head in Woodville Road in Hartshorne via the cellar trap doors.

    Officers are appealing for witnesses and want to hear from anyone who's been offered cheap bottles of champagne, wine or cider.

    Tareena Shakil has become the first British woman to be jailed for joining so-called Islamic State.

    The 26-year-old's a young mum from Burton, and she's been sentenced to six years in prison.

    Callum Forsyth, a terrorism prevention expert at Staffordshire Police, explains why people are fleeing to Syria to join the group.

    "If you're isolated and quite often if someone's isolated, maybe not socially aware if you like or part of a big social circle, if someone comes along and really says I'm listening to you ... you make a lot of sense or we think you're alright and we can help you, then we're going to be attracted to that."

    Firefighters were called to Etwall earlier today where three cars and a camper van were alight on the driveway of a bungalow on Park Way.

    The vehicles were all damaged and crews spent some time ventilating the property after smoke from the fire spread into it.

    Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said nobody was injured and arson isn't suspected.

    A terrorism prevention expert at Staffordshire Police believes social isolation could have been behind Tareena Shakil's decision to join the so-called Islamic State group.

    The Burton mother was jailed for six years for promoting terrorism and travelling to Syria.
