    The family of two women whose bodies were found at a house in Shirebrook have paid tribute to the ‘loving mothers’.

    The bodies of 51-year-old Julie Hill, and her 75-year-old mother Rose, from Sheffield, were discovered at Julie’s house in Station Road on Friday.

    Christopher Whelan, 20, of Dransfield Road, Sheffield, has been charged with two counts of murder.

    The jury is set to start a third day of deliberations in the trial of a man accused of raping five women across the country, including in Derbyshire.

    Derby Crown Court heard that 50-year-old Jason Lawrance used two dating website profiles to meet people and is accused of assaulting seven women in total.

    Lawrance denies all the charges, and told the court the alleged victims were lying about him and that the women consented to sex.

    The council-backed Park Bikeworks enterprise, external was designed to get more people cycling in and around Derby, as well as to and from their workplace.

    It's understood that the administrators are working with the triathlon company Huub to keep the bike parking open for local residents.
