    Opinion is divided among Derby County fans over whether Darren Wassall should stay or go after their season ended with defeat in the play-offs.

    The Rams will want to make a quick decision. As for the head coach himself, he says he has "loved every single minute" of his time in charge.

    But Wassall declined the chance to declare his interest in the job on a permanent basis following their 3-2 aggregate defeat by Hull.

    Back to our story about the bus service in Little Eaton ... Trent Barton's planning to cut the 9.2 route later this month so people in the village won't be able to get a bus into Derby after 19:00.

    Olive Tomlinson is the manager of Coxbench Hall residential home and says the change will have a big impact on her staff.

    She said: "I've got girls who live in Kilburn. I've got girls and boys living the other side of Derby, and it's just going to be such a problem for them getting in on time for work.

    "And I can't afford to lose good members of staff through a bus company. It's ridiculous really."

    For some people, apparently simple tasks such as paying for your shopping, can be daunting and stressful, particularly if you have memory problems.

    One supermarket in Derbyshire has opened a dementia-friendly till, thought to be the first of its kind in the county.

    Specially trained staff will be on hand to help anyone with memory problems buy their goods at the Tesco store in Alfreton, and allow them more time to use the checkout.

    There's a row brewing over buses in Little Eaton, so much so that nearly 100 people attended a meeting in the village hall to complain about a change to the service.

    Residents in the village say the proposed scrapping of the 9.2 bus service after 19:00 could cost jobs.

    Gayton Swimming Pool in Littleover has seen a 14% increase in swimmers recently and is also having to turn people away because it can't cope with the demand.

    While swimmers are turning to private pools in the Derby area, 27 schools are now using Moorways swimming pool in Derby, following the closure of Queen's Leisure Centre.

    The city council says repairs to the roof at the swimming baths are on schedule and it should reopen in the middle of next month.

    Lonsdale Swimming Pool in Mickleover has been picking up some of the slack now Derby doesn't have a public pool.

    It's managing director Ian Cotter says while they want to keep Derby swimming, they're at their limit.

    He said: "One thing that we do have some difficulty with is people coming and thinking we might be open all day for public swimming.

    "People have got to look at our website and ring up and talk to us because we're only open for specific periods."
