    Adrian Moorhouse believes that Adam and his coach Mel Marshall ought to target a longer distance event next. 

    "If he wants a new challenge to keep him going, then I would go for the 200 if I was him and Mel," the 1988 Seoul gold medalist said.

    Adrian Moorhouse, who won 100m breaststroke gold at the 1988 Olympics, has backed Adam Peaty to continue his success.

    I suspect there are going to be plenty of kids out there wanting to join the City of Derby swimming club after Adam Peaty's success. 

    The club's secretary, Steve Layton, said: "We can look hopefully to certainly a bright future. 

    "And it certainly raises the profile of the club and hopefully swimming in general, not only for us in Derby but across the country."
