    She said: "If [the killer] is capable of contrition and of realising what he's done, I feel pity for him because he now has to live knowing that he's killed two beautiful, strong, exceptional people."

    There had been some speculation plans for the zone had been shelved in the wake of the Brexit vote in June. 

    But the government's told Derby City Council it intends to go ahead with the zones anyway. 

    They were first mooted in response to breaches of EU limits on nitrogen dioxide.
