    Police say they want to talk to anyone who regularly travels along the A628 between Tintwhistle and the Flouch roundabout to get in touch with them so their vehicles could be eliminated from the investigation.

    Officers have asked drivers to contact them with the make and model of their vehicle and the time that they made their journey.

    Police have confirmed the body that was found burned in a lay-by near Tintwhistle on Monday is that of a man, external.

    Officers said they think his body had been there since Sunday evening and had been left there sometime between 21:00 and midnight.

    The force said detectives are still working to identify the man and believed the fire had been started at the scene.

    Oh dear. Bill Wright denies having defected to Labour. I've just spoken to him. He says he will be remaining a UKIP councillor.

    He told me: "It's very hard when you're getting over a stroke because your brain isn't your own."

    It's only been 17 months since Steve McClaren was sacked from Derby County after just under two years at the club.

    During his time in Derby he led the side to the Championship play-off final in 2014 but the following season they finished eighth, despite having been second in the table with 11 games to go.
