An amber warning for wind is valid until 20:00, with rain and strong winds continuing to cause travel disruption.
Wind and gusts will steadily ease over the course of this evening and overnight.

A coroner has recorded the death of an experienced scuba diver from Belper as accidental.
Neil Fears drowned off the coast of south east Spain in August 2015 while on holiday.
Derby Coroner's Court heard today there were no clear problems with his equipment - but the 51-year-old father didn't know he suffered from heart disease.
He lost consciousness while underwater.

Storm Doris has taken down another tree on the A38 just after Markeaton Island.
Drivers took matters into their own hands and moved the tree out of the way.

The chaos continues... Matlock Town Football Club's floodlight has been blown over.
The club said no-one was hurt when the floodlight fell and that they will "assess the damage going forward".
