    Police believe the same man is responsible for all four sex attacks which have taken place around Derby over the last couple of years.

    1. Monday, 27 September 2014, a teenaged girl was sexually assaulted on a footpath between West Park Road and Acorn Way at about 20:50.
    2. Monday, 7 September 2015, a woman was subjected to a serious sex attack in the nature reserve close to South Avenue within Darley Park at about 17:40.
    3. Tuesday, 22 December 2015, another woman was subjected to a serious sexual assault on the same footpath between West Park Road and Acorn Way at about 18:40.
    4. Thursday, 16 February 2017, a woman was subjected to a serious sexual assault in the area of Stoney Lane, Spondon at 11:00.

    Four serious sex attacks which happened in Derby are now believed to have been carried out by the same man.

    Officers are linking three serious assaults which happened in Spondon, and another in Darley Abbey when an 18-year-old woman was raped. 

    Derbyshire Police is warning women to avoid secluded areas on their own.

    They're handing out this leaflet and have set up a dedicated phone line for people to ring to provide information.

    It looks like Gary Rowett is set to be the next manager of Derby County.

    The former Rams defender Rowett is the favourite to succeed Steve McClaren, and should be in place in time for Saturday's East Midlands Derby at Nottingham Forest.

    The decision to sack McClaren isn't a big surprise, given a slump in form.

    I definitely felt as though Steve had changed over the last couple of weeks.

    Then listening back to his interview on Friday, it's almost a little bit of him, not quite pleading for the job, but he certainly tried to say all the right things to make it clear that he is part of the long term solution.

    In case you missed it, last night Steve McClaren was sacked as Derby County manager for a second time, five months after he was reappointed.

    Derby, 10th in the Championship, said they acted following a "significant, unexpected and persistent decline in results, team unity and morale".
