Sophie Charles from Thurmaston contracted sepsis in July of last year.
She began to feel unwell, her mum Julie called NHS helpline 111, then a paramedic was sent out to Sophie.
The paramedic spotted the symptoms straight away, and Sophie was taken to hospital.
She now wants to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of the blood poisoning infection., external
