Nottinghamshire have handed Academy fast bowler Jack Blatherwick his first professional contract at the club, external.
The 20-year-old made his first team debut in May and was chosen as England's 12th man against India at Trent Bridge in the summer.
He said: “I’ll be sharing a dressing room with players I have watched from an early age and it will be brilliant to get involved with it.
“For me, there will be no better advice in the changing room than having a couple of international bowlers, and lads who have been around the game a long time, to learn and get advice from.”
