    The family of a Nottinghamshire man who went missing in Vietnam say he has been found dead.

    Steve Bush moved there 10 years ago but vanished last week from the hotel where he lived.

    His sister Amanda Bush said on social media that his body was at a mortuary and the family were trying to establish how he died.

    A Foreign and Commonwealth Office spokesperson said: "We are supporting the family of a British man following his death in Vietnam, and are in contact with the Vietnamese authorities.”

    Two teenagers have been arrested after a 19-year-old man was stabbed in Leicester, external.

    The victim is in a serious condition following the attack in Everest Court at about 02:00.

    A 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy are being questioned about the stabbings after a vehicle failed to stop for police and crashed into railings in Scraptoft Lane.

    A student group at Loughborough University has complained after seven innocent students had their rooms searched by sniffer dogs during a recent drugs crackdown.

    Campus Care Not Campus Cops said a Freedom of Information request made to the university revealed drugs had been found in five rooms during the raids but not in seven others.

    It said university bosses had "recklessly invaded the privacy of innocent students rather than approach those they had concerns about or provide support for students with drug abuse issues".

    A Loughborough University spokesperson said: "Following reports from members of our student community, the University investigated allegations of serious illegal drug activity on campus.

    "We will always take the strongest possible action against illegal activity of any kind on campus and the outcome of the operation is now in the hands of the police."

    Thieves have struck at a jewellery shop in Ruddington.

    Police said the raiders smashed a window at David Richards Jewellers in Church Street, helped themselves to stock and left in a silver vehicle.

    Officers are checking CCTV footage of the break-in at about 02:00 on Sunday and have appealed for information, external.

    Aggie Kasicka was a second-year student at the University of Nottingham when she was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma at the age of 20.

    She had put her "relentless" tiredness down to exam stress and her part-time job but required six months of treatment when doctors discovered the true reason.

    Five years on, Ms Kasicka is healthy and working as a management consultant in London.

    The 25-year-old shared her story as a report by Teenage Cancer Trust and Public Health England found survival rates for teenagers and young adults with cancer are improving.

    However, the study found young patients living in poorer areas had lower chances of survival.

    Derby County boss Frank Lampard described last night's FA Cup win at Southampton as "magical".

    "At 2-0 down it was easy to give up and they didn't," he said.

    "I've got a really good dressing room with great characters. They wanted to play, to run when fatigue kicks in and we thoroughly deserved to win the game."

    Lampard also paid tribute to Rams fans who made the long trip to the south coast for the game.

    He said: "A big thank you to the fans because it's half past 10 when the game finished.

    "They're going to get back to Derby at whatever time and they're probably working on Thursday too so a big thanks to them because they helped us get over the line."

    A 53-year-old man is due to appear in court charged with carrying out sex attacks in Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire, external.

    Jason Lawrance, formerly of Arundel Close, Liphook, Hampshire, is facing four counts of rape, one count of sexual assault and one count of assault by penetration at Nottingham Crown Court.

    Leicestershire Police said the offences are alleged to have taken place between November 2009 and January 2014.

    A bulldog from Ashby-de-la-Zouch has attracted an online fanbase after teaching herself to skateboard.

    Videos of Pumpkin, who uses her paws to propel herself along on her bright pink board, have been watched thousands of times on social media.

    Her owner said she hopes to use her pet's profile to raise money for The Edward Foundation, a charity that rescues bulldogs.

    A 60-year-old man is to appear in court, external charged with the murder of a man who died 10 months after being assaulted in Leicester.

    Ashton Slatcher, 43, was attacked in Green Lane Road in August 2017 and died the following June.

    Leicestershire Police said Martley Matthew, formerly of Burleigh Drive, Wigston, is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court later.

    Derby County have progressed to the fourth round of the FA Cup after beating Premier League side Southampton on penalties in their third round replay at St Mary's.

    Just as in the first game, the Rams fought back from 2-0 down to level the scores thanks to goals from Harry Wilson and Martyn Waghorn.

    After a goalless extra-time period, Frank Lampard's side converted all five of their penalties to book their place in the next round, where they will face Accrington Stanley on 26 January.
