The aim of the Alternative Arrangements Working Group, made up of leave and remain MPs and government officials, is to suggest a solution to the issue of a hard northern Irish border.

It comes after Parliament voted to replace the backstop last week - an insurance policy to prevent checks on goods and people returning to the Northern Ireland border.
