    A campaign started by a terminally ill woman to protect workers' rights has reached a major milestone.

    Dying to Work is a campaign led by Jacci Woodcock from Derbyshire, who claims her employer tried to force her to leave after she was told she had terminal breast cancer.

    Now companies with a total of one million employees have signed up to a charter, which protects people like Jacci who have a terminal illness but want to keep working.

    Jacci said she'd "come back and haunt them" if MPs don't turn it in to law before she dies.

    Six men have pleaded not guilty to illegal hunting in Derbyshire after being filmed by the League Against Cruel Sports.

    They entered their plea at Nottingham Magistrates' Court today at a short hearing.

    They're accused of being involved in fox-hunting with the Meynell and South Staffordshire hunt at Sutton-on-the-Hill in Derbyshire in October last year.

    They deny hunting a wild mammal with dogs under the Hunting Act 2004.

    A trial is due to be held in August.

    Charred wreckage is all that remains of dozens of caravans and motor homes caught up in a fire at a storage facility in Blidworth.

    One caravan owner told us he was still waiting to find out if his was one of the destroyed or damaged holiday homes.

    He said a forthcoming trip to Kendal would have to be cancelled if it was.

    Nottingham Forest are to play in a special match tomorrow evening marking 150 years of football in Newark.

    The Forest XI will take on a side featuring players from Newark Town and Newark Flowserve FC at the Flowserve ground, near Hawton Lane, at 19:45.

    Home fans will be hoping for a repeat of the 1906 Notts Senior Cup final when Newark Town (pictured below) beat Forest 2-0.

    Corn snakes may come from the dry scrublands of the USA but this exotic pet managed to survive winter in a Buxton back garden.

    The bright orange snake was first spotted by the homeowners under a rubbish bag last summer but slithered away and was presumed dead.

    But it seems it had in fact been living in their garden and reappeared again last Wednesday, albeit looking a little worse for wear.

    The RSPCA said these snakes, which can grow as large as 1.5m and are not poisonous, are great escapists but its survival in cold conditions is "extremely surprising".

    It is now being nursed back to health by specialist vets and will be up for rehoming in two weeks if it's not claimed.

    The Air Accidents Investigation Branch has said it is investigating this morning's minor collision between two planes at East Midlands Airport this morning.

    An airport spokesman said the Ryanair and Jet2 planes were being inspected by engineers from both firms following the crash at 07:50.

    One of Britain's largest care home groups, Four Seasons Health Care, is on the brink of administration.

    The group has 253 residential and nursing care homes across the UK - including at least 15 in the East Midlands.

    Two of the holding companies behind the firm are expected to appoint administrators on Tuesday after struggling to repay their debts.

    If it goes under, it would not affect care arrangements or lead to the closure of homes.

    Nottinghamshire Police said they had not been asked to assist the fire service with its investigation into a major blaze at a caravan storage site in Blidworth overnight.

    More than 70 caravans and motor homes were destroyed in the fire and dozens of others were damaged.

    East Midlands Airport is investigating after a Ryanair plane collided with a stationary Jet2 plane at about 07:50.

    Ryanair said in a statement: "One of our training aircraft was taxiing to stand at East Midlands when its wing tip made contact with a Jet2 aircraft.

    "This aircraft was under the instruction of East Midlands Traffic Control at the time and the crew were following correct taxi lines as per ATC procedure.

    "This B737-700 aircraft was due to be used for training in East Midlands so no customers were affected."

    East Midlands Airport has given us a short statement on this morning's minor collision between two planes.

    It said: "A taxiing aircraft made contact with a stationary aircraft this morning on the central passenger apron at East Midlands Airport.

    "There were no passengers on either aircraft and no-one has been injured. Flights are continuing as scheduled."

    At least 70 caravans and motor homes have been destroyed in a fire at a storage facility in Blidworth.

    Terrance Fallon told BBC Radio Nottingham his motor home was safe but his heart went out to those who weren't so lucky.

    He said: "It's horrendous. I've been taking photos and I can't believe it - it's like something out of a movie.

    "It's a lot of money to replace them. I just hope everyone's insured. If not, then there'll be no holidays this year."

    The culture of modern white-ball cricket means it is easier for players to slip into recreational drug use, says former professional Simon Hughes.

    His comments come after Nottinghamshire batsman Alex Hales was withdrawn from England's World Cup squad following an "off-field incident" that led to him being suspended.

    Hales was reportedly suspended for recreational drug use, external, although the ECB has refused to confirm why the 30-year-old was withdrawn, citing confidentiality concerns.

    Hughes said Hales was on "borrowed time" and the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) had to drop him.

    "You have got to take very severe action," Hughes told BBC Sport.

    "Unfortunately he hasn't learned his lesson."

    Two planes were involved in a minor collision at East Midlands Airport this morning.

    A spokesman for the airport said a moving plane clipped a stationary plane but no passengers were on board either aircraft.

    Passenger Jason Gwynn, who was on a Jet2 flight about to head to Palma, sent this photo which appears to show the incident.

    Police say they're concerned for the safety of a 16-year-old boy who's gone missing from the West Bridgford area.

    Sam Gill was wearing light blue jeans and a black hooded top with "Mountain" written on it when he disappeared last night.
