A hospital cleaner has been picked as one of 50 NHS workers to be featured in this year's Blackpool Illuminations.
Charlotte Wells has been based at the Royal Derby Hospital for six years, and worked over her contracted hours during the pandemic.
Hundreds of people were nominated to appear on a display to celebrate the work of the NHS, key workers and other outstanding individuals.
Charlotte's sister Lauren, who nominated her, said she has been going above and beyond while also caring for her mother.
Blackpool is especially poignant to Ms Wells as it was a family holiday destination before her father passed away in 2014.
Ms Wells said: "I'm very happy to have been given this honour and the chance to represent the Royal Derby Hospital and all of our amazing staff."

Nottinghamshire Police said it happened at about 21:30 on Saturday in Elm Tree Avenue, Mansfield.

A fire involving one of Nottingham's new fleet of rental e-scooters was likely to have been caused by "vandalism and an attempt to steal the scooter battery", the company which makes them said.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to Talbot Street this morning where one of the scooters, made by Wind, was ablaze.
More than 200 e-scooters, which arrived in Nottingham at the end of October, are part of a 12-month trial in the city.
It costs up to £30 a month to rent the e-scooters or they can be paid for by the minute.
The company said key workers would also be able to rent the scooters at a discounted rate.
