    The Cornwall rugby team have retained the Tamar Cup after a 33 -17 win at Devon. 

    Cornwall played the second half with just 14 men but managed to battle to victory. 

    Cornwall's County Championship campaign begins in May. 

    The Black and Gold will be looking to defend the Bill Beaumont Cup they won at Twickenham last year.

    A teenager who was reported missing with her five-month-old son in Plymouth on Sunday night has been found safe and well.

    Alyssa Price, 17, was last seen in Estover at about 21:45.

    She was found on Monday at about 19:20. Both Alyssa and her son were found safe and well, police said.

    • Near Penryn on the A39 there's slow traffic on the approaches to the Treluswell Roundabout due to the road improvement works
    • In Plymouth heading outbound there are delays on Tavistock Road, Manadon Roundabout and Outland Road due to roadworks
    • In Helston there are temporary traffic lights and roadworks and busy traffic on the A394 near Rowe's Lane
    • On the A394 Marazion Bypass there are temporary traffic lights for roadworks. Slow traffic in the area
    • The 10:30 sailing of the Enterprise Boat from Falmouth will leave at 0930, and the 11:00 sailing from Truro will leave at 1030

    A lifeboat crew in Cornwall was on the spot to rescue a dalmatian that fell from a 100ft cliff into the sea near St Agnes.

    Cara the dalmatian ended up in the water at Trevaunance Point on Sunday.

    The St Agnes RNLI crew launched and quickly found her, before reuniting her with her grateful owners on the beach.

    St Agnes Surf Lifesaving Club's volunteer patrol was also involved in the rescue.

    Despite the huge fall, Cara only had a scratch on her leg.

    Firefighters have tackled a kitchen blaze in Tiverton.

    Crews from the town, Cullompton and Bampton attended the semi-detached property after reports of a fire in the ground floor kitchen.

    Nobody was hurt but the room was badly damaged, Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said.

    The service said the cause of the fire was accidental.

    Devon and Cornwall Police are searching for a missing 35-year-old man in the Plymouth area.

    Gareth Lake is 5ft 9ins tall, and is thought be to be wearing a blue T-shirt and grey trousers.

    A controversial multimillion-pound regeneration scheme for Exmouth seafront goes before planners today.

    Proposals for Queens Drive look to replace existing amusement arcade, boating lake and cafes with a watersports centre, leisure facilities, a hotel and retail units.

    East Devon District Council says the project will bring new attractions and jobs. 

    However some businesses will have to move or close.

    Local authorities in the South West are launching a shared campaign to try and solve a care recruitment crisis.

    Research shows the region has the highest turnover of staff than anywhere else in the country with more than 41,000 people leaving the profession every year.

    Monks who make Buckfast tonic wine linked to violent crime in Scotland should be stripped of charitable status , say campaigners.

    The National Secular Society says the beverage made at Buckfast Abbey in Devon is harmful.

    Buckfast Abbey Trust does not pay tax on the income because it is a charity, which the society claims is an "abuse of the charitable system".

    The trust said it was surprised at the complaint.
