Police have made another appeal to anyone who saw a crash in which a motorcyclist died in a collision with a car.

Officers are especially keen to speak to the woman who was in a small silver or grey car, the occupants of a light coloured SUV type vehicle and a small red hatchback around the time of the incident.

Average waiting times to get in touch with police on the 101 non-emergency services are "below five minutes" - but that's better than when it used to be 10 minutes - says the outgoing chief executive of the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner in Cornwall.

"Everywhere I went people complained about this service. Over a prolonged period the OPCC reviewed the service and then worked with the chief constable providing investment funds to improve the service.
"Current average waiting times are below five minutes which compares well with most other forces."

A man has appeared at Exeter Crown Court charged with the murder of Philip Ryan at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Honiton on 6 June.

Keith Beviss, 54, of Woodhayes Drive, Honiton, appeared before Judge Geoffrey Mercer, QC, for a preliminary hearing at which Tara Woolf, defending, did not make a bail application.
The judge adjourned the case for a preliminary hearing at Exeter Crown Court on 6 July and remanded him in custody.

A motorist from Plymouth has admitted he caused a crash on the A38 near Exeter which led to his car overturning and him suffering serious injuries.
Image source, PAKenton Allen, 53, of Thirlmere Gardens, Plymouth, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving when he appeared at Exeter Crown Court, but insisted the accident was not caused by his use of a mobile phone.
He was the driver of a Vauxhall Corsa which crashed into another car on the middle lane of the A38 Westbound just before the Splatford Split at Kennford on 20 October 2016.
His car rolled over after hitting the other car, whose occupants escaped without injury. He was freed from his upturned vehicle and he taken by air ambulance to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, where he was treated for two days.
Judge Geoffrey Mercer, QC, adjourned sentence until next week and released Allen on bail.
Steve Crowther, from North Devon, is the temporary interim UKIP leader, but says he won't be putting himself forward to take up the job full time.
"It's not my ambition and I think there are other people who will put themselves forward who will be better than me at it," he said.
"One of the reasons that one becomes interim leader is because one doesn't have an ambition to be the leader and, you know, just choose some old cove that will smile and wave and not bump into the furniture while they are electing a new proper leader."

Conservative MP for Totnes Sarah Wollaston says Theresa May's special advisers should be sacked for policy announcement mistakes.
"The two turning points for me seemed to be around the announcements about fox hunting but then massively around social care," she said.
"That was a very major turning point I felt in the whole campaign.
"Because Labour did not expect to win they were able to offer everything to everyone."
With just one declaration outstanding, the Conservatives are eight seats short of this majority, with 318 MPs.

Police are investigating how some horses near Wadebridge appear to have had their tails cut off.
Officers say the horses have been grazing in fields, and the "cut would indicate that a tool would have been used".
The bone of the tail is said to be in tact, "and the hair will grow back, however it is concerning for the owner and distressing for the animals", they told the BBC.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on 101, quoting log 0551 280517.
The latest Care Quality Commission report on inpatient care at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust (RCHT) has rated it as "requires improvement".
Although some aspects such as cleanliness have improved since the last survey, the overall score for one area, Care and Services, was just five-and-a-half out of 10.
One-thousand inpatients at the RCHT were surveyed over the last eight months and just over 600 responded.
The vast majority of respondents said they were treated with dignity and respect and were well looked after by hospital staff.
The trust says it's pleased with the overall result.
It added, there was room for improvement, few patients said they were asked for their views during their hospital stay, and many said they were not given enough information about how to complain if they were unhappy.

Theresa May has said she will form a government with the support of the Democratic Unionists that can provide "certainty" for the future.
Speaking after visiting Buckingham Palace, she said only her party could form a "legitimate" administration after winning the most seats and votes.
She said she would work with "friends and allies" in the DUP to take forward Brexit, saying "let's get to work".
The Tories are eight seats short of the 326 needed to command a majority.
