    Eversfield Organic Farm's app works by scanning a digital label to show how the product's been processed and transported, even showing pictures of the animals and the farm they lived on.

    Marine conservationists are urging people to report strandings of Portuguese men-of-war on Cornwall's beaches.

    Cornwall Wildlife Trust says the species - not technically a jelly fish, but a floating colony of tiny marine organisms living together - have been at the mercy of strong winds over the weekend.

    Portuguese men-of-war, which have distinctive blue tentacles and a transparent purple float that's the same shape as a Cornish pasty, can deliver a painful and potentially lethal sting.

    The relatives of a man swept out to sea while fishing have been informed of a body located in a bay in Cornwall.

    Brothers Charles and Robert Allen, from Bristol, were fishing on 4 September when they were swept off rocks near Treyarnon Bay.

    Emergency services found Charles, 21, in the sea, but he died later in hospital. Rescuers did not find Robert.

    Police were called just after 08:00 BST when a member of the public reported seeing body at Constantine Bay in Padstow.

    The relatives of Robert Allen, 30, have been informed and formal identification would be carried out shortly, police said.

    Treats, including fruit, cereal bars, water and sweets are being deliverd to more than 30 police stations in Devon and Cornwall to encourage frontline officers to take meal breaks and look after their wellbeing.

    The 24-hour challenge by the force's peer support network will also raise funds for the Care of Police Survivors, external (COPs) charity, which helps families of officers who have lost their lives whilst on duty.

    Devon & Cornwall Police Peer Support Network is one of the first of its kind in the UK, with personnel trained by the Institute of Mental Health to support colleagues, based on shared understanding and respect between people in similar situations.

    Deputy Chief Constable Paul Netherton said the work carried out every day by officers can have an impact on them.

    "People working shifts can find themselves too busy to take a meal break, or out of sync with regular mealtimes, so we hope the #Treatsforbeats initiative will encourage them to take breaks where possible and to be mindful of their wellbeing, whatever the pressures of the job," he said.

    The initiative is being funded by the Police Federation and staff support groups.

    Badger culling has been given the go-ahead in Devon and 10 other new areas of England as part of efforts to tackle tuberculosis in cattle.

    Licences for badger culling also include parts of Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset and Cheshire.

    The Government said it was also restarting a badger vaccination programme to stop the spread of the disease to new areas.

    In addition, licences for more culling have been granted for areas of Gloucestershire and Somerset, which have completed four-year pilot culls introduced to stop spread of TB from badgers to cattle.

    Strong winds, with gusts up to 60mph, are whipping up seas and could bring down power lines and trees across the South West.

    The Met Office, which issued a yellow warning, said winds should ease later, but some strong gusts could continue into the afternoon.

    An international gang of money launderers, including two men from Cornwall, have been jailed and ordered to repay £590,000.

    The gang of six laundered £40m of criminal cash through bank accounts in UK and abroad and were behind a separate VAT fraud, with HM Revenue and Customs investigators tracking their activities across Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic.

    In August, Daniel Wood and Gary Fulton, both of Cornwall, were ordered to sell assets to repay £70,000 and £104,228 respectively following their convictions in April 2016. If the money is not paid within six months, both will serve more time in prison.

    Four other men were jailed in 2015, with sentences totalling 27 years. Serious Crime Prevention and Confiscation orders mean the gang have to sell all their assets to repay almost £590,000.

    The body of a man has been found at Constantine Bay in Padstow.

    Devon and Cornwall Police said the family of missing fisherman Robert Allen have been informed and a formal identification will be carried out later.

    Dr Allen, 30, and his 21-year-old brother Charles, were swept into the sea while fishing off rocks at Treyarnon Bay last Monday.

    Charles was airlifted to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro, but was later pronounced dead.

    Despite extensive searches by coastguard rescue teams, police and the RNLI, Dr Allen was not found.

    The death of a woman, whose body was found in the sea at Chiselbury Bay on Saturday is not being treated as suspicious.

    The alarm was raised by a fisherman who spotted the body in the water near Ladram Bay Holiday Park.

    The body - believed to be a 50-year-old woman from the Surrey area - was recovered by the Sidmouth lifeboat.

    Devon and Cornwall Police said the woman’s next of kin has been informed and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
