    Drone

The Civil Aviation Authority said the rules for flying drones were designed to keep all airspace users safe and anyone flouting them could face severe penalties - including imprisonment.

Dr Alan McKenna, from the University of Kent, asked every police force in the country how many incidents they dealt with. He said those reported in Devon and Cornwall happened on the coast, in the street and near people's homes.

    Quote Message

Generally, the calls [nationwide] relate to people being concerned about drones flying over their property. There was one call, for example, where a drone was actually chasing a person down the street and obviously that's harassment. In December, a lady phoned the police to say that there was a drone hovering outside her lounge window for 30 seconds."
