    Tomorrow will see early patches of mist and fog lift to leave most places dry with sunny spells.

    A few coasts may stay quite misty though.

    Maximum Temperature: 15 to 20C (59 to 68F).

    Vodafone has apologised to mobile phone customers in part of Cornwall who have been having problems with signal after a local mast was vandalised yesterday.

    The company said "essential cables have been cut" after several people in Perranporth took to social media to complain that they could not get any 3G or 4G coverage.

    Some EE customers said they were also affected, but the company has yet to respond to the BBC.

    Two men were arrested in Torquay yesterday on suspicion of illegal money lending and money laundering, Torbay Council has said.

    Officers said the men, aged 23 and 73, are in police custody after a joint investigation between the England illegal money lending team (IMLT), Torbay Trading Standards and police.

    Further arrests were made on the 23-year-old on suspicion of assault, blackmail, driving whilst disqualified and possession of a firearm.

    Torbay council said documentation, electronic devices and "a quantity" of cash was taken from two properties in Brixham.

    Tony Quigley, head of the IMLT, said: "Loan sharks are a scourge on our communities; exploiting and extorting borrowers and often resorting to the worst kind of bully tactics to force people into paying back far and above what they have borrowed and can afford."

    A man has been jailed for stealing £160,000 from a frail relative's bank account so he could live a jet set lifestyle.

    Gerald Weight, 54, of Kestor Drive, Exeter took his family on four holidays to Egypt and spent thousands more on gambling, designer clothes, and in restaurants and pubs.

    His wife's 87-year-old great aunt, Joan White, was left totally penniless, Exeter Crown Court heard.

    She sold her home in Plymouth and moved into Weight's home in Exeter in 2012. She gave Weight access to her bank accounts and within weeks he had started spending the money by taking his family of three children on a £9,000 luxury all-inclusive trip to the Red Sea.

    Weight and his wife, Sally-Ann Weight 43, admitted fraud.

    He was jailed for three years and nine months while his wife was sentenced to two years, suspended for two years.

    Judge Timothy Rose told the couple their behaviour was "driven completely out of greed". "You have completely and utterly lost control of yourself - not done anything to stop. You literally emptied all her accounts."

    Ben Bradshaw, Labour MP for Exeter, says he is "confident Labour can win the next election".

    The party held on to its majority in Exeter and Labour took control of Plymouth City Council by gaining four seats from the Conservatives.

    A Devon road with a "prize-winning sized collection" of potholes that are "as long as surf boards" is being repaired.

    Councillor Rob Hannaford (pictured) complained to Devon County Council about the "plague of potholes" that had developed along Bowhay Lane, Exeter.

    He said that a cyclist had a bad fall whist commuting to work last week and is considering a compensation claim against the authority.

    The Padstow lifeboat was called out this morning to assist a yacht which had its propeller caught in fishing nets.

    The crew were having difficulty because of the lack of wind and could not get under sail.

    A coastguard spokesman told us the yacht is being towed back to shore.
