    Today's the first of several very summery days - it'll be dry with some patchy cloud but also sunny spells.

    It will be increasingly humid too, with a top temperature of 25C (77F).

    It'll remain dry overnight, staying warm and humid, which may lead to patchy mist and fog patches in places. 

    Lows of 15C (59F).

    Morning! Welcome to another week on the BBC's live page for Essex, where we'll keep you updated on the latest goings-on around the county.

    We'll also take a look at the weather shortly - it's going to be quite spectacularly warm tomorrow, I'm told.

    Our main story this morning is about Harlow, where a Polish woman who's lived there for more than a decade says much more needs to be done to protect minority communities in the town. 

    At the weekend, Mira went to a meeting with police, the council and local residents following two separate attacks on Poles in the town, including the murder of 39-year old Arek Jozwik.
