Fans of the famous Flying Scotsman are being urged to keep off the tracks as the locomotive tours the south today.
The train is journeying from Salisbury, through Hampshire, Berkshire and on to London Paddington.
Network Rail and British Transport Police are warning those who are planning to view it of the dangers of straying on to the tracks.
Alongside the risk of being hit, rail lines in the south west are powered by an electrified "third rail" running parallel to the tracks.
Quote MessageSeeing Flying Scotsman passing through our spectacular countryside is a terrific opportunity, but I cannot stress enough how important it is to stay safe at all times. Never wander on to or near the tracks. As well as being illegal, it is incredibly dangerous...

Bournemouth have signed keeper Asmir Begovic from Premier League champions Chelsea for an undisclosed fee.
Begovic was on the Cherries' wish list in January, but Chelsea's failure to sign a replacement for him stalled his move to Dorset.
But Eddie Howe has got his man now, and - despite Artur Boruc having an impressive season - Begovic has surely been brought in to start the season as first-choice.
Bournemouth are still keen to secure a deal for Begovic's former Chelsea team-mate Nathan Ake, while a minor issue at the Sunderland end continues to delay the announcement of Jermain Defoe's Dean Court return.
With eight days to go until the general election, BBC Radio Solent's Breakfast in Dorset is giving you the chance to hear from the people hoping to be the next MP for Dorset South.
