    Worcester Warriors’ head coach Carl Hogg has described the New Zealand All Black Jonah Lomu as a massive global icon who will be sadly missed.

    Lomu died at the age of 40 after losing a long battle against a serious kidney condition.

    Hogg said Lomu had been the figure of the 1995 Rugby World Cup in South Africa and he had transcended all sport.

  5. Man bailed after suspected hit-and-run in Kidderminsterpublished at 17:16

    A Stourport man arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been released on police bail until January, while investigations continue.

    A 42-year-old was arrested on Sunday morning, external after 22-year-old Jason Westcott was left for dead in a suspected hit-and-run on the A451 Ringway in Kidderminster.

    More than 150 homes and businesses across Worcestershire are still without electricity after Storm Barney. 

    Engineers from Western Power, external have been working to restore supplies after the spate of bad weather.

    Do you recognise this man? Police are appealing for help after the "vulnerable man" was seen in the Credenhill area of Hereford last Saturday.

    An appeal was made last week for help but few people have come forward with information and now West Mercia Police is asking all forces to help identify the man.

    Government figures show commuters who drive to work in the West Midlands are facing longer and longer journeys.

    The average rush hour speed over the past 12 months was just over 17mph - a continuing slow down compared to nearly 18mph the year before.
