    A militaria and aviation fanatic who has amassed barns full of rare war memorabilia has sold his hoard for more than £80,000. John Hancocks, 85, said his fascination began as a child in Birmingham when the city was targeted by German bombers during World War Two. His passion grew during his National Service as an RAF crash salvager based at Cosford in Shropshire.

    According to the British Listed Buildings , externalwebsite, the Eastham Bridge over the River Teme is a Grade II listed building.

    It was built in 1793 and was originally a toll bridge in private hands.

    The website says Worcestershire County Council bought the bridge in 1907.
