Here's more on our main story about the low-hanging power cables that have closed the A448 at the Foxlydiate and Webheath junction near Redditch.

Motorists have been moving barriers so that they can still access the main Bromsgrove to Redditch road - driving underneath the damaged electric cables. The council has described their actions as "incredibly dangerous".

The road was closed this morning after cables that carry 66,000 volts of electricity drooped near to the carriageway. The B4096 Hewell Lane was also shut.
