  1. Police appealing for witnesses after Droitwich dog-attackpublished at 13:49 British Summer Time 13 June 2016

    Witnesses are being asked to come forward after a 14-year-old boy was attacked , externalby what police describe as "a rottweiler crossed with a Staffordshire bull terrier".

    The victim was walking in Lido Park with his dog on on Friday, 3 June, when a woman's dog tried to bite him. 

    The boy jumped out of the way and the dog bit the boy's dog twice on his tail and on his left hind leg.

    The dog's owner was with a boy around the age of 11 and a girl, aged around eight.

  3. Third arrest in Herefordshire after allegations of cruelty to foxespublished at 13:19 British Summer Time 13 June 2016

    A third person has been arrested following allegations of cruelty to foxes at the South Herefordshire Hunt kennels in Wormelow, police say.

    An investigation was launched after police were sent footage obtained by anti-hunt protesters.

    West Mercia Police say a 37-year-old man from Abergavenny has been arrested on suspicion of failing to prevent unnecessary suffering to an animal.  

    Another 37-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman, both from Hereford, were arrested last week.

    Hereford FC's manager Pete Beadle has confirmed goalkeeper Harvey Rivers is to leave Edgar Street and is to join Cirencester Town.

    Beadle says Rivers has been assured he will be the number one choice for them and so he fully understands his decision to move on.

    Meanwhile, the Bulls have also confirmed commercial manager Chris Ammonds is to step down from his full-time role at Edgar Street.

  7. Concerns raised about charity collectors in Worcesterpublished at 11:36 British Summer Time 13 June 2016

    A concerned member of the public has got in touch with BBC Hereford & Worcester about people collecting donations for charity on the street in Worcester.

    Dick Lane, from Droitwich, says people have been asking for money for a charity about healthy eating, using a leaflet with the words children's cancer on.  

    The leaflets are published by a Bristol company - the BBC has asked then for a response, but they haven't got back to us yet. 

  8. Campaign for speed camera after duck deathspublished at 11:16 British Summer Time 13 June 2016

    People living in a Worcestershire village have started a petition after three ducks were ploughed down by a speeding motorist.

    Villagers in Hanley Swan want a permanent speed camera and flashing signs to make motorists obey the 30mph speed limit.

    Ros Davies, who runs the village stores, has started the petition, which now has over 200 signatures, external.

  9. Football: Supporters paying wages of new Redditch signingpublished at 10:59 British Summer Time 13 June 2016

    Redditch United have completed the signing of defender Clayton McDonald, with the club's supporters agreeing to pay the player's wages for the season.

    The move marks a return to Valley Stadium for McDonald. who was with the Reds before spending the last two seasons with Worcester City.

    The Reds have also brought in goalkeeper Brad Catlow.
