    Keith James has been in touch with me to say a tree has been uprooted in the entrance way to Bryngwyn Manor, Wormelow.

    He said it's caused some damage to the nearby lodge house, but it missed two parked cars.

    BBC Hereford & Worcester have been told engineers were needed to glue the roof down at the Asda supermarket near the River Wye in Hereford.

    Police have said the road near the A49 and A465 has reopened.  

    The petrol station is a recent addition and has been open less than six months.

    Western Power Distrubition say over 9,000 homes are without power across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. 

    In Worcestershire the number of homes without power is 6,332 and 2,801 Herefordshire.

    West Merica Police have closed, external the A49 and A465 in Hereford near to the bridge over the River Wye and the Asda supermarket.

    The police force says it's following safety concerns around the roof of the Asda petrol station.

    Dave Throup from the Environment Agency has said they have recorded gusts of 65mph in Pershore. 

    He says it is "pretty lively" for an inland location.

    The A443 at Top Barn just outside Worcester was blocked by a fallen tree, but thanks to a digger and lots of people chipping in, the road was cleared within an hour.
