River levels in Bewdley, Worcestershire have started to fall this morning, the ambulance service's said.
There are still three flood warnings covering the town and the Environment Agency has said the River Severn will stay high with more rainfall forecast.
The ambulance service has staff helping in the area and said they'd seen the water level fall , externalby 2cm since arriving.
BBC Hereford and Worcester's Nina Das Gupta's also in the town, external and said flood defences at Beales Corner were holding, but the bridge was still shut to pedestrians and vehicles.
