    Diana Johnson, Hull North MP has tweeted her resignation letter from the Shadow Cabinet to Jeremy Corybyn.

    Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has announced a new cabinet following a wave of resignations in protest at his leadership and amid calls to resign.

    The Tour de Yorkshire boosted our local economy by almost £60m.

    Despite the rain and cold weather, more than two million spectators lined the route that kicked off in Beverley. 

    Organisers of the race say they're still working hard to make it a four-day race.

    Humberside police will be joining government officials as they hold a minute's silence to mark one year since the terror attack in Tunisia.

    Claire Windass and Bruce Wilkinson from East Yorkshire were among 38 people killed when a gunman attacked the resort of Port El Kantoui last June.

    Police in Hull are searching for a three thieves who stole a bicycle, external from a woman at knife point on Friday morning. 

    The 29-year-old woman was cycling to work along Fountain Road when she was approached by the group who demanded her mobile phone. 

    When she refused the suspects grabbed her Muddy Fox bike and threatened her with a knife.

    The thieves are described as being white and aged in their mid to late teens.

    A new Visitor Centre for Spurn Point could be approved by East Riding Council today. 

    The Yorkshire Wildlife Trust want to build the centre to help with education on the local wildlife landscape.

    Some villagers think it will damage the environment and over-commercialise the area. 

    I've spoken to Dr Rob Stoneman the chief executive of the Yorkshire Wildlife, he told me why he wanted to change the site.

    People travelled far and wide to enjoy the spectacles on offer at National Armed Forces Day in Cleethorpes over the weekend. 

    The Prime Minister and Duke of Kent attended the event to celebrate the work of the Armed Forces, alongside 180,000 people. 

    It featured a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, a parachute display by the Royal Navy, Army and RAF and the Red Arrows performed an incredible aerobic display.
