    Concerns are growing for a 16 year old boy who is missing from Brigg, external in North Lincolnshire. 

    Leon Bulmer has links with the Derby and Lesicester areas and police say it's possible he may be travelling there. 

    He was reported missing yesterday afternoon and was wearing red trainers, black jogging bottoms and a navy jumper.

    Police are asking anyone with any information to contact police on the 101 number.

    Ryan Mason and Will Keane are among five other recent signings who could make their home debuts.

    One and a half lorry loads of rubbish have been cleared from a house in Scunthorpe and 12 people moved out

    It's after police raided a property , externalon Buckingham Street on Monday and charged two people with intent to supply drugs. 

    North Lincolnshire Council say the house was in such bad repair they had to board it up and the people living in the house have now been found somewhere else to live.

    A Beverley woman has been ordered to pay compensation and costs of more than £800 after her Border Terrier bit a stranger leaving him with a gaping wound on his leg. 

    The dog ran out of a house on Wood Lane and bit the passer-by on the calf. 

    Geraldine Curran admitted allowing the dog to be dangerously out of control and was ordered to keep the animal called Molly muzzled and on a lead in public places in future.

  6. A deal could soon be in place for Hull City caretaker manager Mike Phelanpublished at 11:18 British Summer Time 16 September 2016

    Hull City's caretaker manger Mike Phelan says a contract offer has been made to him in the last 24 hours and more talks are planned for next week.  

    He took over from Steve Bruce in the summer and has only lost one game so far.

  7. Hull marathon: If you see them running - give them a cheerpublished at 11:00 British Summer Time 16 September 2016

    Just when you think you can't go on any more, there'll be an angel there to help you... That's if you are running the Hull Marathon this weekend.

    The race angels will be posted along the last mile of Sunday's race in the dock area of the city to cheer the runners on.

    That's one part of the race where there tend to be less supporters.

     A number of roads will be closed for the race. You can find out more information on road closures here, external.

    It will bring you a stone!

    While I was out reporting from The Deep, external this morning I discovered their male Gentoo Penguins will bring a female a stone as a token of love. It signals their intent to build a nest and mate.

    If the female accepts the stone, the male gets down to work,

    Whilst it works for penguins, humans had best stick to flowers and chocolates.

  10. World record attempt in Barton - that's a lot of teddies!published at 10:10 British Summer Time 16 September 2016

    St Mary's Church in Barton on Humber have until Sunday to break the world record for most teddies in a line. 

    In total they need 15,535 and so far they have around 14,407.

    Supporters from around the world, including Australia, are busy knitting and crocheting teddy bear hand puppets. 

    They'll all end up in Christmas shoe boxes for children in poverty.  

    And you can get a glimps of them this weekend at a teddy bear festival at the church this weekend:

    We've been talking to Hull 2017, external boss Martin Green this morning.

    He told us the team behind Hull's City of Culture year have raised a massive £32m, almost double the money they first expected.

    The money's been raised through private and public funding and will go towards funding events and educational and legacy schemes.

    Hull's City of Culture, external year is going to have more money than first expected. 

    The team behind Hull 2017 wanted to raise around £18m for funding events, educational and legacy schemes. 

    But now the charity working to deliver the year say they've actually raised £32m through private and public funding.

    Limited social housing, soaring house prices and high rent charges are making it almost impossible for many people to get a foot on the housing ladder.

    In North East Lincolnshire the council is looking into buying new houses and then renting them out to people on low incomes.

    In Hull the housing crisis is being tackled head on. Dozens of local communities like the Goodwin Development Trust are taking matters into their own hands and started building their own affordable homes.

    Former Chancellor George Osborne is to chair a new think tank aimed at taking forward his "Northern Powerhouse

    As chancellor, Mr Osborne (pictured) championed the idea of creating an economy in the north of England to rival those of London and the South East.

    But there have been concerns that the project may go off the rails under PM Theresa May, who sacked Mr Osborne.

    Mr Osborne said the PM had committed to the vision but told the Sun: "We can't just expect Whitehall to do it all."
