I've been talking to a Grimsby pharmacist who's told me, Government cuts will mean certain services they provide for the elderly and vulnerable could be axed.

Tim Cottingham owns a pharmacy in Waltham and Grimsby.

Currently, each one receives, on average, £220,000 a year from the NHS, but ministers say they want to reduce the cost.

Health Minister, David Jowatt, said special funds would be set up to support pharmacies in isolated areas and to help set up around another 1,500 in-house pharmacists in GP surgeries and hospitals by 2020, which would be "more convenient" and cheaper for patients.

Now if you're in Hull's Old Town this Sunday you may think Christmas has come early.

The Church of England has picked the city's cobbled streets and pubs to feature in a national advert.

The Reverend Matt Woodcock from Holy Trinity Church (pictured) organises an event, every year, called pub carols where people dress up and sing.

He says's they've been asked to feature in the advert because the Church of England found out about their yearly pub carols event and want to encourage more people to go to their local church for a Christmas Service.

  14. Fluoride debate continues in Hullpublished at 14:34 British Summer Time 21 October 2016

    Stuart Harratt
    BBC Local Live

Fluoride could be added to tap water in Hull in an attempt to reduce the level of tooth decay in the city.

The proposal by the ruling Labour group will be discussed at a council meeting next month, with a public consultation being held next year.

Public Health England has described fluoridation as a "safe and effective" public health measure.

However, campaigners described the plan as "mass medication" and called for other methods to tackle tooth decay.

  17. Bid to save iconic Phillip Pape mural is unsuccessfulpublished at 13:43 British Summer Time 21 October 2016

It would have cost over £100,000 to preserve the mural when the school moved to it's new building.

But not everyone, including the Mayor of Barton John Oxly, felt saving the mural was not worth the cost.

The campaign was launched back in 2015, to help save the mural, created by Phillip Pape, who lived and worked on Beck Hill in Barton from 1960 to 1982.

At the time of the campaign launch, we spoke to David Roberts the Assistant Head who told us how important the mural is to the people of Barton, but it now looks like the school has failed in it's bid to save it.

  18. Could Brexit impact the region's tourism industry?published at 13:24 British Summer Time 21 October 2016

    Gill Sennett
    BBC Radio Humberside

It's thought that Britain's vote to leave the European Union may have had a positive impact on our region's tourism industry.

The value of the pound has fallen since the referendum in June, leading some people to choose to holiday in the UK instead of heading abroad.

Sir Gary Verity from tourist group Welcome to Yorkshire says the indications are that bookings have been on the up.
