    A new winter weekly service to Tenerife has just started from Humberside Airport.

    Keep your shopping bags handy, the Humber Bridge Farmers' Market is staying open!

    Well, until March next year at least.

    The market takes place at the Humber Bridge viewing area car park on the first Sunday of every month but was going to be stopped at the end of the year.

    However, it has been given a little longer while planning consent is sought for work to start on a glass lift on the bridge while a hotel and office complex is planned nearby.

    A Yorkshire poet has had more than 1.7 million views on his Facebook page, external for a poem he wrote for members of the armed forces for Remembrance Sunday.

    You can see plans today for a £21m project to protect parts of the East Riding from flooding.

    How many children in our area do you think are living in poverty?

    Figures out today show almost a third of children in Yorkshire and the Humber are living in child poverty.

    In Hull, there are more than 20,000 children and around 35,000 in all of Lincolnshire affected.

    The figures come from the End Child Poverty Coalition.
