The mother of a two-year-old girl, who swallowed a fatal dose of heroin substitute, has been found guilty of manslaughter through gross negligence.

Lucy King, 39, denied the charge but was convicted by a jury at Maidstone Crown Court.

The jury heard Ms King waited two hours to call 999 after her daughter swallowed the methadone.
